NANA/VECO / Maniilaq Medical Center-Kotzebue, AK 1992/93
Sub-contractor to NANA/VECO on the gravel pad and piling foundation for the new Maniilaq/PHS medical facility. Built 30,000 CY gravel pad with insulation, and installed 376 passive refrigerated pile.

Hoffman Construction / Maniilaq Medical Center-Kotzebue, AK 1994
Sub-contractor to Hoffman on the Maniilaq Medical Center. Provided over 1,400 CY of concrete for the facility. Also provided office facilities, and final grade sitework.

Selawik IRA / Barge Landing Site-Selawik, AK 1995
General Contractor on the Selawik Barge Landing site. Constructed 400 LF of gravel road with a 300' x 150' gravel pad for staging area. Gravel was barged in 65 miles from Nimiuk Pt. near Kotzebue.

Selawik IRA / Medical Clinic-Selawik, AK 1997
Direct negotiation with the Selawik IRA to construct 3,800 square foot medical clinic. Multifunction building with exam rooms, pharmacy, office space, and trauma room. Work included site work, piling, and structure.

Gaston & Associates / Selawik School Addition-Selawik, AK 1997
Sub-contractor for Gaston & Associates on the Selawik School Addition. Supplied and constructed a gravel pad for the school grounds and a 1300 LF road from the barge landing site to the school grounds. This project entailed over 10,000 CY of imported gravel. Drilled and placed over 150 piling for the addition to the school.

City of Kotzebue-Kotzebue, AK 1997
General Contractor for sewer main replacement project. Replaced over 1300 LF of force and gravity main sewer lines within the village of Kotzebue.

City of Kotzebue-Kotzebue, AK 1997
General Contractor for the building of the new balefill cell. Constructed 900 LF of gravel berms to complete cell. All gravel came from Nimiuk Pt. via barge. Hauled in over 12,000 CY of gravel

OTZ Telephone Coop, Inc.-Kotzebue, AK 1998
Contract to complete phase I of the new OTZ Telephone Headquarters Building in Kotzebue. Phase I included site work, install thermosyphons with on grade slab and access ramps, underground utilities, and erection of the metal frame and foam insulated panels. Building was three stories with approximately 7,500 square feet.

Department of Defense-Kotzebue, AK 1998
Contract to demolish the metal and concrete structures at the former LRRS Site just outside of Kotzebue. Demo waterlines, sewerlines, White Alice dishes, and pedestals. Demo radar globe concrete structures, take down 2,000,000 gallon water tank.

City of Kotzebue-Kotzebue, AK 1999
Completed two pump stations for the City of Kotzebue. Entailed two new pump stations, building enclosures, control panels, electrical, and concrete slab work. Also replaced the City's central loop watermain. Had to keep the old loop running in order to supply homes while the new line was being installed. Installed 90 hook ups to existing houses, no house went without water for more than 24 hours.

BIA Hillside Road Project-Kotzebue, AK 1999/2000
Contract to build new 4 mile road just outside of Kotzebue. Project is a multiyear project that consists of gravel base (210,000 cy), foam, geofabric, guardrail system, multiplate culverts, signs, and seeding.

UIC Construction, LLC / Noorvik School Addition-Noorvik, AK 2000
Sub-contractor for UIC Construction in Noorvik. Built new site for school, and playground areas. Trucked in over 14,000 CY of material from the gravel pit in Noorvik. Also moved school modulars around the school yard, and installed 211 piling for the new additions to the school.

UIC Construction, LLC / Kiana School Addition-Kiana, AK 2001
Sub-contractor for UIC Construction in Kiana. Installed 120 refrigerated pile for the new additions to the school.

UIC Construction, LLC / Kiana School Addition-Kiana, AK 2002
Sub-contractor for UIC Construction in Kiana. Barged in gravel from Larry Westlakes pit to Kiana. Barged and trucked 2,300 CY. Built in playground, basketball, and parking areas.

City of Kotzebue-Kotzebue, AK 2002
Completed two pump stations for the City of Kotzebue. Entailed two new pump stations, building enclosures, control panels, electrical, and concrete slab work.

QAP / Ted Stevens Way Upgrade-Kotzebue, AK 2003
Sub-contractor to Quality Asphalt to complete upgrades to roadway including borrow fill, culvert installation, concrete supply, and rip rap erosion protection placement. Overall project consisted of preparing and paving 1 mile of road with sidewalks, curb and gutter, and signage.

City of Kotzebue / Sewage Lagoon-Kotzebue, AK 2003
Project consisted of additional borrow fill to increase the height of the existing dikes around the City's sewer lagoons. Work included delivering borrow fill, grading, compacting, and some incidental piping and manhole work.

National Park Service / WEAR Maintenance Facility-Kotzebue, AK 2004
Project for the National Park Service included moving a bunkhouse, installing a new triodetic foundation, installing gravel pads, also as part of the contract was installation of manholes, arctic pipe, and pump station. Supplied a new 4" HDPE main for the NPS facility, as well as a duplex pump station that tied into the existing City sewage infrastructure. Sewer and water laterals were installed to four buildings on the property, relocation of two existing fire hydrants was also completed.

UIC Construction, LLC / Kotzebue High/Middle School-Kotzebue, AK 2004
Provide all site work, culvert drainage, and pile foundation for new middle/high school addition to the existing school building. Installed 149 thermopile, completed site work for drainage, and parking. Also included was multiple services for sewer and water to the new additions.

Shishmaref Erosion Protect Revetment-Shishmaref, AK 2005
Project completed for the Corps of Engineers, Haul armor rock from Nome to Shishmaref and place in 175' long revetment along the shore to protect the school facilities from the Chukchi Sea. Project included supplying armor rock, class B and core aggregates. Sloped beach area and placed revetment while maintaining residential housing that was adjacent to the construction site.

National Park Service / Heritage Center Demolition, Piling, and Utility-Kotzebue, AK 2005
Contracted with the National Park Service to demolish the former NANA museum in Kotzebue. This two story structure was taken down and hauled out while salvaging some of the building materials for use on future NPS projects. Also included were the extraction of 20 foundation piling, installation of 151 new thermopile, and sewer and water services. Also included in the contract was the construction of a new building pad, sewer and water services, and a new pump/lift station for a new maintenance shop to be built along with the new Heritage Center in the future.

SKW/Eskimos / DOT AARF & SREB Building-Kotzebue, AK 2005/06
Subcontractor to SKW/Eskimos to provide all site work, concrete, and sewer and water service installation. Site work included excavation and backfill for new on-grade foundation, provide all concrete to job site, and provide and install new sewer and water services, with a pump/grinder station for the facility.

City of Kotzebue / Uptown Loop and services project-Kotzebue, AK 2005/06/07
Contracted with the City of Kotzebue to replace the old Uptown watermain loop with a new 8" HDPE mainline, and replace 221 existing water services with new HDPE services. Also included is 500 LF of new sewermain, various sewer services, and manhole installation.

City of Kotzebue / Front Street Water Loop and services project-Kotzebue, AK 2008/09
Contracted with the City of Kotzebue to replace the old Front Street watermain loop with a new 8" HDPE mainline, and replace 127 existing water services with new HDPE services. Also included is a reroute of local sewer main, various sewer services, and manhole installation.

Kotzebue IRA / Multiplate culvert repair-Kotzebue, AK 2009
Replace a 13 ft. multiplate culvert with three 7 ft. culverts, build a concrete headwall and associated earthwork, including coffer dam, rip-rap, and demo and re-install of guardrail system.

We've also provided and completed hundreds of other smaller projects over the years ranging in price from $5,000.00 to $500,000.00. Some of the other agencies we have worked for are the FAA, State of Alaska DOT/PF, Northwest Arctic Borough School District, Department of Defense, Northwest Arctic Borough, State of Alaska DEC, National Guard, local businesses, and private individuals.
